I have recently begun exploring storytelling, both written and oral story telling. My work has a natural affinity for storied music and is drawn to the potency of lyrical stories and storied song. Because of my training in linguistics and languages, I have the unique offering of singing and composing in language (Gaelic, Korean, Spanish, other). I have completed training in Creative Writing (through the Writers Studio), and three story telling workshops with Melaina Feranda. This included performing Gaelic songs and Yoik-influenced song at her August 2026 Enchanted Evening. The next anticipated event with Melaina will be soaking in her workshop, Weaving Words of Wonder - Learn the Art of Oral Story Telling at the end of November 2026. Melaina has been an inspiration in the limitless possibilities and benefits of oral story telling.
